Today we’d like to introduce you to Allan Pose.
Allan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My Dad got me my first camera as a kid and I was more than elated.
Did he do it to encourage my passion for taking pictures? I don’t think so. I think he did it to keep me off his camera!
I would take a ton of pictures with my new camera and when they were developed (in the good old days), my father would nicely point out the things I could have done better.
As I grew older, it remained a hobby while I focused on academic pursuits and climbing the corporate ladder.
As I build my brand, I feel privileged to meet new people, capturing their special moments and milestones.
Has it been a smooth road?
The major challenges for me were creating time to network and building my clientele. My wife and I didn’t know anyone when we moved to Dallas. Starting from a clean slate was quite challenging, but I’ve been fortunate to make some positive connections along the way.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Allan Pose – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I would like people to think of Allan Pose as that photographer that appreciates you for who you are and brings out the best in you.
It’s not just about taking pictures, I get to know and understand every client as a person. Then, we can create Art in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Portrait photography is my specialty. I love the entire process from concept planning to execution.
It’s a wonderful feeling to know my clients are happy with the finished work.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the diversity and energy of Dallas. What I like least? I think Dallas could use more good BBQ places (jk).
