Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Dunbar
Hi Amber, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved being in front of the camera or behind the scenes capturing the current moment. I found myself taking pictures of nature, food, my love ones, anything that caught my eye. Life in itself has always been so captivating to me. It’s Art.
As I entered college I could never figure out exactly what I wanted to do. At the time “content creator” wasn’t a known thing and I wasn’t aware that I could make a career from my creative eye, ideas, let alone a camera.
I spent my early 20s in the service industry, and although I enjoy all things hospitality, I still felt unfulfilled.
It wasn’t until 2022 when everything began to click. I was tired of my current job and the lack of fulfillment plus purpose in my life. After seeing others make the very thing I loved to do (which is create content) their career, whether it was by posting YouTube videos, TikToks, etc.. I figured I should give it a shot.
Since then I launched my business Ariemedia.co offering social media marketing services to others who would like to elevate their online presence.
I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with some amazing brands to create quality content for their products, while working alongside business owners and local businesses to help them improve their socials through visual storytelling plus marketing/content strategy.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This journey of building my personal brand & business has not been easy, I’m still learning something new daily, however it has been very rewarding in all aspects. Taking the leap of faith to become a content creator I faced a lot of inner turmoil. Imposter syndrome, comparison even took place. There was times where I even doubted if I could really take off with just posting my TikTok videos. But I did. That alone opened me up to a new world and connections.
The challenges however didn’t stop there. When I was ready to take my brand further by launching my marketing business I felt called to quit my job as a server and pursue freelance social media management along side content creation full time. Something I never done but deep down knew I could.
Letting go of my main source of income was hard. Starting my business required me to lean fully on God to show me the way, provide and bring me the clients.
I spent hours perfecting my craft, learning more about the industry and how to be an expert in my field. As I continued to show up, marketing myself on every platform I could think of, I landed two clients in one week. My business took off from there.
All the challenges I’ve faced along this journey has built my character, work ethic, and shifted my mindset tremendously. It has changed me completely as a person in such a positive way.

Ariemedia.co is my social media marketing business where I help businesses, creators and entrepreneurs elevate their online presence with customized strategies and quality organic content. I offer social media management, personalized strategies, 1:1 Consultations and of course content creation.
My goal is to make social media feel less overwhelming and more impactful for my clients by focusing on what works for each individual business/person.
When It comes to my role as a full time creator, I specialize but not limited to lifestyle and hospitality content. Capturing the essence of an establishment or product and all it has to offer.
As a creator, I bring a unique perspective to the marketing industry because I’ve been in the trenches—building an audience, creating content that connects, and learning what it takes to build an audience organically.
That firsthand experience allows me to approach my clients’ needs with both strategy and relatability.
What makes Ariemedia.co different and myself as a creator is that I focus on creating authentic, purposeful content that doesn’t just look good but also drives real results. My strategies are built on storytelling, connection, and quality over quantity.
Social media is a place for others to build community. solve problems, share their story and create their dream lives from it.
Ive been able to help my clients do just that and im forever grateful to be in this position.
It’s amazing to watch clients gain confidence and see the results they desire by working with me.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I must say, along my journey I’ve learned a lot from a man named Myron Golden. He’s a business consultant who is rooted in his faith and every piece of knowledge he shares flows from it. Myron Golden is extremely successful, and great at what he does. I watch his YouTube videos often, studying how one should operate a business, allowing me to improve as a new entrepreneur.
Theres many other people that I learned from on a day-to-day basis outside of Myron, because one thing I have learned in this life is that we should never stop being a student.
