Art has been the center of my life since childhood, and I have always searched for ways to allow my creativity to shine. As I made my way from the Midwest to Dallas, I somehow stumbled into the vibrant world of mixology. As I delved into the craft, I discovered it’s more than just serving drinks; it is an art form that requires skill, precision, and most importantly creativity! So, I decided to start Mixing Pretty in 2022 to shake things up in the mobile bartending world. My vision is to continue bringing speakeasy-inspired cocktails to private events while creating an elevated and customized experience.
Through Mixing Pretty, I formed a team of talented mixologists who specialize in crafting enticing cocktails with a touch of elegance and a dash of charm. Each cocktail is curated with love, carefully chosen and locally sourced ingredients, finished with an artistic flair for a delicious yet visually appealing experience. When you see us in action you can’t help but feel our passion for mixology. It’s contagious!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting Mixing Pretty wasn’t smooth sailing—it was a challenging journey, marked by trial and error. I had to navigate the startup phase on my own, figuring out everything from budgeting and investment to the ins and outs of running a business. Without a roadmap, I had to learn from my own mistakes, but each lesson made me more determined. I promised myself early on that Mixing Pretty would be a success, and that commitment continues to drive me every day.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an artist at heart; it’s something that feels like destiny, having grown up in a creatively inclined family. Over the years, I’ve explored numerous mediums—painting, sculpting, digital art, and even had a jewelry line at one point. My friends and family would say I’m known for thinking outside the box, always pushing boundaries when inspiration strikes, and finding ways to make my style unique. Every creative opportunity feels like a blank canvas to me, a chance to showcase my talent and eye for style.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is the constant journey of self-growth—striving to become the best version of myself and finding ways to improve each day. I love inspiring others by sharing my story, hoping it sparks something within them to pursue their own ideas or take that next step. And, of course, my art is a core focus. Creativity is at the heart of everything I do, and I’m committed to keeping it that way.
