Hi Amy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Every love story deserves a breathtaking beginning.
For me, that belief was born in 2017, while planning my own wedding. When I stepped into the venue I had chosen, it was the chandelier that stopped me in my tracks. It took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. I knew instantly that this was the place I would say “I do.”
Fast forward to 2019, when my daughter was planning her wedding. She chose my parents’ property as the setting, and together we transformed the outdoor space into something magical, an enchanted backdrop fit for a princess. Seeing her walk into that space, her eyes sparkling with joy, I felt something stir inside me. I knew, deep in my heart, that this was what I was meant to do: create a place where couples and their families could feel that same awe, that same moment of knowing this is the spot.
With my family by my side, we began searching for the perfect property., and we found it in the town of Paradise, it felt meant to be. After all, who doesn’t want to get married in Paradise?
Then came Covid. At first, it felt like a setback, but it became a blessing in disguise. With both my husband and I working for the school district, we balanced zoom calls with hours spent pouring our hearts into building the venue. I carried with me only a vision and a Pinterest board titled Let’s Build a Dream. Idea by idea, we shaped that dream into reality.
I will never forget the day of our very first tour. I only had pictures of what the space could be, yet the couple saw what I saw. They believed in the dream, and they booked. and afterward, I cried like a baby, knowing I was creating something truly special.
Today, our venue stands as the fulfillment of that dream; a space built with love, family, and a vision of wonder. My deepest hope is that every bride who walks through our doors feels what I once felt: their breath taken away, their heart overwhelmed with joy, and the certainty that this is the perfect place to begin forever.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were plenty of practical struggles such as renovating the property, long days of physical labor, balancing our jobs in the school district while also investing our hearts into this dream., getting the grass to grass to grow might be what pushes me over the edge… Or at the age of 52 trying to navigate social media and the digital side of running a business. It’s not just about creating a beautiful venue, but it’s about sharing that story online, keeping up with trends, and reaching couples where they’re looking. Learning how to market ourselves in the digital age has been a journey in itself, but it’s also opened doors we never could have imagined. My cute mom just keeps asking why we don’t just run an ad in the paper like we use to.

Our venue is all about creating a stress-free, magical experience for couples. We know that planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, so we’ve designed our services to take the pressure off and let couples focus on what really matters: the joy of the day.
We offer all-inclusive packages that provide everything from linens, dinner plates, glasses, and tableware to centerpieces and backdrop options. Our goal is to simplify the process, so couples don’t have to worry about renting or sourcing dozens of details. We also schedule a meeting 30 days before the wedding to go over every detail. This way, the bride walks into her big day with confidence and peace of mind, knowing we’re fully aligned.
One of our most loved features is the separate ceremony space tucked away in the woods. It gives couples the chance to say their vows in a naturally beautiful, intimate setting. From there, guests transition seamlessly into our reception space, which is filled with natural light and can be transformed into an indoor/outdoor venue when weather permits. It feels airy, open, and welcoming, perfect for celebrations in every season.
Another thing that sets us apart is that as the owner, I’m personally onsite during weddings to help guide the day. I walk alongside my couples from the planning process all the way through to their send-off. It’s important to me that every couple feels cared for, supported, and celebrated.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is that we’ve created a venue that truly reflects love and family. It’s not just a beautiful space – it’s a place where dreams come to life, where couples feel at ease, and where every detail has been thoughtfully planned to make their day unforgettable.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson we’ve learned along this journey is that it’s not about competing, it’s about connection. We have a wedding venue practically in our back yard, and as my husband likes to say, “there’s a burger joint on every corner, it just depends on what kind of burger you want”. The same is true for wedding venues.
There are several stunning venues in our area, and each of them has something special to offer. What we’ve come to realize is that it all comes back to the feeling a couple gets when they walk through the doors. That first impression, that spark of ‘this is it,’ is what matters most.
For us, the lesson has been trusting in our vision and knowing that the right couples will connect with what we’ve created. And if we’re not the perfect fit for someone, that’s okay too. Because we believe every couple deserves a space that feels like theirs. We’re here to welcome the ones who walk in, feel at home, and know in their hearts that this is where their forever should begin.
