Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Marie Hernandez and Maritza Lerma.
Miss Bella Mari was established after multiple events they both were hired for. After one of many gigs, they stopped for coffee and began talking about how great it would be to combine their talents and create one company that offered both hair and makeup services for the DFW Metroplex.
After several years of freelancing, as of April 2017, they began their journey to merge and create Miss Bella Mari.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many others in the beauty industry, we have come across several hardships. Luckily, overcoming these obstacles has been easy when you have a business partner with the same goals, ambition and strong mentality as you.
Having other full times jobs, family and important life events can be very difficult to handle when trying to secure a future with a career your passionate about. Working to make this our full-time job, staying focused sacrificing time away from our loved ones, to become successful women lime many other aspiring ladies in the beauty industry.
Our tip for other girls wanting to become successful in whatever they are intrigued by is to remain attentive to all opportunities appointed towards you. Stay humble, keep your head-up, keep pushing! Times will get better with faith and hard work.

Miss Bella Mari is a business created by two passionate woman offering Hair and Makeup services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
We specialize in beauty services for Brides, Quinceañera’s, Prom, Graduations, Photo shoots, and other events.
I, Itza Lead Hairstylist/Co-Owner of Miss Bella Mari, have skills in Up-do’s, Braids, Hollywood Waves, and many other trendy styles. I began styling my freshman year of High School when I received my first curling-iron, I booked all my friends for the school’s events. Receiving certificates for many courses, like Amazing Beauty’s Hair Artistry Course, Swift Attack, Heather Chapman and Michael Boychuck to name a few, I have been able to stay up to date with today’s most requested hairstyles.
Miss Bella Mari’s Lead Makeup Artist/Co-Owner is me, Ana Marie. Growing up as the only girl in the house, my love for makeup and all beauty related things initiated. I discovered my talent after playing around with makeup and applying it to my friends and family. Beginning in 2013, I decided I would do makeup at my house for extra cash to help build my makeup kit. What kept me going was giving birth to my son Rayden, and knowing I had someone to provide for so with that I decided to attend several courses. Today, with certifications from well-known Makeup Artist such as Benni Beauty, Jenny69, Mara, Glamour by Hosway, and Amazing Beauty Artistry I’ve picked up many tips and tricks that have helped me become the Makeup Artist that I am today. Specializing in Glam for Bridal, Quinceañera’s and other occasions with skills in eyebrow shaping, color correction, and face contour.
What we are well known for and sets us apart from others is that we are your all in one beauty stop available to anyone seeking beauty services. We are the proudest of our loyal and returning clients because their honest feedback and referrals is what keeps us in business and has helped us grow rapidly.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being able to witness our beautiful clients reactions after their first look. The feeling you get when we see our bride walk down the aisle is an unexplainable feeling and memory that we will forever carry.
