Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Babb.
Andrew, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started working on computers at a rather young age. I still remember when my aunt had gotten me my 1st computer. It was a Compaq 286. All I had was basically a DOS (command prompt) and had to figure out the rest. Soon, I had installed Windows 3.1 and was ready to roll. Over the years, I had learned about how to optimize and repair them. Every once in a while, I would have crashes and system failures and I had to figure out how to fix the issue or be out of a computer. My parents weren’t privy to them at the time, so I had to read books, watch tech shows and ask around. When I was still a child, I asked myself why I had all these problems to fix with my computer, not knowing what the future had in store for me. In high school, I started taking as many computer courses as I could. My first job in college was as a Computer Lab monitor helping other students troubleshoot their computer issues while they were researching and writing papers. I was fortunate to be able to get my first full time IT job a month before I graduated from college. After a few years, I started building Trifecta Computer Consulting and the rest is history.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road. There’s a lot of things that clients expect you to know how to do. Somethings, you can learn and other times, you may need to find a specialist to help you with your client’s needs. It comes down to being able to solve solutions for your clients and doing quality work.

Trifecta was founded in Denton, TX and was based off of a need to resolve computer issues for consumers and small businesses. I specialize in being able to find unique solutions for the customer based on the resources they have available for their system. At Trifecta, our job is to win your trust, place your needs in our hands and show excellent customer service. The best interests of our clients are our first priority and we strive to go above and beyond to make sure they get the results they need. What sets us apart from other companies is detail to the client’s needs as well as giving them options that will fit the client’s budget.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to expand physical locations outside of Denton and recruit new talent that will be able to help automate various services which will be faster and more efficient for our clients.
