Today we’d like to introduce you to Andy Harris.
Hi Andy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Ya know it’s funny, this idea started on a text thread between myself and my two awesome friends. We saw a massive need for destigmatization of a plant. We thought we could make the biggest impact by providing insanely comfortable clothes. We love the Cannabis and Fashion industries, so we merged the two together and began HAF Loungewear.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
If anyone says launching a company is smooth road, they are lying. As partners, we all have owned and run different companies that were, and are, very successful. We all have failed a ton in business as well. With that said, there is not a curveball that comes our way that we probably haven’t dealt with before. The challenges are what make a business stronger.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We sell clothes, period. We specialize in ridiculously comfortable loungewear (t-shirts, hoodies, robes, sweatshirts, etc.). We are most proud that we can help to destigmatize the cannabis space while providing people with comfortable clothing; I would say what sets us apart from others is our ability to quickly adapt to a very fast-paced market… and we are SUPER fun to work with!
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Get involved as much as you can in your community. Building relationships is huge for business; I think customers want to know that real, genuine people run your company. When they know you, they are more likely to buy from you.
