Thanks for sharing your story with us Angel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am the founder of Queens of Travel also an accredited travel agent. I created a travel community for women who share the same passion for traveling. After hearing so many women lack the support of traveling with friends/family, I knew I had to create a resource for them to come together. Inspiring women to step out of their comfort zones of just traveling with friends. This approach has been amazing while members make new found friendships and travel buddies. What makes Queens of Travel unique is we create and host our own trips. Throughout the years, we host at least four big international trips. Our group also was founded on the basis of giving more knowledge to the community when it comes to traveling abroad. My love for travel started at a young age, after going on family vacations, I knew when I was old enough to travel the world that’s exactly what I would do. I went on my first international trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica at 18. Seeing how other cultures lived just sparked my interest more and I wanted other people to get out and explore the awesome experiences the world has to offer. Being an accredited travel agent, I specialize in all-inclusive vacations, cruises, Asia, Africa, and Europe destinations. I’ve helped hundreds of people check off a destination on their bucket list or even get their first passport. As well as leisure travel, I’m all about giving back as well and volunteering in underprivileged communities around the world. It makes me feel fulfilled. I can say I’m truly living my purpose.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to success is never smooth unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, lol. I grew up in North City St. Louis, in a neighborhood where about 90 percent of people have never traveled outside of their city, so just getting people to expand their horizon was a struggle. I mean I didn’t have a travel mentor, everything I’ve learned about the business has mostly been researching on my own and trial and error, but at the end, it always works itself out.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Queens of Travel – what should we know?
I founded Queens of Travel two years ago… what makes us unique is we create and host our own trips. Me being an accredited travel agent allows me to do so and keep everything in-house. I’m most proud of how many people I’ve gotten to get their passports and travel internationally. Queens of Travel has definitely been a motivating factor for people to step out of their comfort zones and explore the world. We are known for hosting amazing trips around the world. We welcome every nationality to travel with us with open arms.
As an accredited travel agent, I specialize in groups, all inclusive vacations, cruises, destination weddings, Asia, Africa, and Europe destinations. What sets me apart from other travel agents is I personalize my clients travel itineraries to meet their needs. I build relationships with my clients and they become like family I’m not just out to book their vacation and take their money.

My integrity, commitment to my brand, leadership skills, communication skills, creativity, innovation, decision-making skills, and definitely my personality are most important to my success.
