Meet Angie Cambridge of Crafted by Cambridge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Cambridge.

Hi Angie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always had a love for weddings. After working in fine jewelry and getting to be a part of the very beginning engagement moments for so many sweet couples, I knew I would always be drawn to the industry. In 2020 my husband Shawn and I got married ourselves and were looking for ways to really personalize our wedding day. We were able to meet many of our vendors up front and chat through what we wanted to ensure they would be a good fit, but when it came to the details we could not find what we were looking for. A year later – Crafted by Cambridge was born. We started with small laser cut signage and personalized table details and it slowly grew to bigger, more unique creations. A fun idea turns into a custom design and a detailed build to bring a couple’s dream vision to life on the best day. We love that each wedding we get to be a part of is truly unique and we aim to bring custom pieces that represent the couple throughout. We also love that we get to serve our couples together.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think any business owner will agree that business ownership is not a straightforward path. There are so many hats to wear on a daily basis, new challenges that arise and finding ways to navigate each new season as they come. Being flexible and having the ability to adapt is the key in any business, but especially when working with events that come with high emotions such as weddings. We are so grateful for all of our couples who have trusted us along the way from when we were first starting out to today.

Crafted by Cambridge creates unique details that represent each couple’s love story for their wedding day. We specialize in large statement displays that not only draw the attention and awe of guests, but that set the tone and provoke feelings when you experience the moment. We don’t believe in making the same pieces twice and want each couple to have truly unique pieces for their big day. We are a husband and wife team who has gone through the wedding planning ourselves and are able to help navigate the process from initial design concepts to revisions to bringing everything to life while allowing the couple to not stress about lifting a finger on their wedding day and just enjoy seeing it all come together. We are committed to providing a personal experience and creating unforgettable details that express each love story.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
After both growing up in the Midwest, we migrated South and now we can’t imagine being anywhere else. Fort Worth has a hometown feel with small shops, friendly people wherever you go, and all of the opportunity of a big city without the hustle every day. We love exploring local coffee shops and spending our free time on a patio during the summer.
