Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariadna Juarez.
Ariadna, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I began growing my social media following when I was 15 years old, back in 2015. I used to compete in beauty pageants and that’s where my love for inspiring other girls began. I realized how much I loved making other girls feel confident and loved. I always made sure they knew they were not alone and in any situation, they could come to me for any sort of advice.
At first, it was just my hobby. I was still in school and doing makeup on the side. It took some time for my following to actually start growing, but when it did, it was the greatest thing ever. Now, here I am five years later, and social media has become my full-time job and I wouldn’t have it any other way! My family has been my biggest support system and my team through this journey. I am so grateful for their support
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It certainly was everything but easy. We live in a generation where there is so much competition online, everyone is super talented and unique. I would think to myself, “what makes me different” or “how will I get up there if there’s nothing special about me..” until I simply let go and started truly being myself and sharing my life with my followers and I realized… people like seeing real. You don’t have to pretend to be anyone to grow, simply be yourself and the rest will work on its own.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
My social media career consists of simply sharing my life. I share not only my ups but also my downs and I think that is what my followers appreciate the most about me. I’m very raw about everything I share, and I’m very transparent. I post “cute” selfies on my Instagram account lol.. (i hope they’re cute or well.. I try) I vlog on my YouTube channel as well as doing sit down videos, challenges, etc. I love staying in touch with my supporters and I tend to always give advice to my girls. I’m mostly proud of how much I have grown overall. As a person, I have matured and learned so much.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I wouldn’t change anything. I would do everything exactly the same way, every single step of this journey has been amazing and full of lessons.
