Today we’d like to introduce you to Arieanna Masters.
Arieanna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I always valued in making people happy since I was six years old. My mind began to wonder about how I could start my own business. My parents and I were thinking of ideas but one idea real stuck with me. Later that day, we searched all over the Dallas Metroplex looking for supplies to design custom slides. Once we found most of the supplies later that night Jeanae’ Customs & More was formed. I began creating new flashy ideas that would help my company grow and stand out. I designed my first two pair of fluffy slides for my mother and I. The next day while out shopping, a lady stopped and asked me about my slides. She asked if I could make her some slides in her size. I was so excited about how I received my very first order from a person that had no relation to me. That’s when I realized Jeanae’ Customs & More was for me!!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course not! My biggest struggle is accepting the fact I’m 11 and the owner of Jeanae’ Customs & More. But with God and my family behind me, “All things are possible”! At times color combinations ideas and my next product are hard to come by but once my mind and pray it always comes to me. Which lets me know I’m on the right path!!
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am an 11-year-old girl and the owner of Jeanae’ Customs & More. Jeanae’ Customs & More is well known for off the wall loud but cute color combinations and unique designs on shoes and clothing. I offer any and every color slides, heels, flower slides, and a custom shirt or outfit to match. My items are available in infant to adult sizes. I am very proud of how fast my business has grown in two in a half months the positive feedback I have received, and the return of my customers placing multiple orders. What sets Jeanae’ Customs & More apart from others is great customer service and of course me being an 11-year-old entrepreneur!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I went to my first pop shop at the beginning of August and I sold out of everything I had on my table and received over 30 orders. On that day, I was the happiest little girl I am very appreciative and thankful for my parents for allowing me to be apart of the Little Boss event!! It was a great experience for me.
