Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel Savage and Torri Roland.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Noir Honey boutique was started by my sister and I. We are both nurses but have always had a love for clothing and fashion. In 2014 we decided to open an online boutique called Madison Cache Boutique. We wanted a boutique that offered contemporary and trendy items for women of all sizes. In 2016 we decided to rebrand ourselves and that’s when we created Noir Honey Boutique.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Neither of us had experience with owning a retail company, so a lot of our business journey was through trial and error. We had to learn the ropes about inventory, marketing, and managing finances. We attended seminars and training and networked to educate ourselves. We are still learning and evolving daily. We are always looking at how we can make our business better.

Noir Honey boutique is an online Women’s boutique based out of Dallas TX. Every item is handpicked by us. We are known for our unique, fashionable, on-trend items. We carry sizes 0-3X. Our passion has always been fashion but we also have a passion for helping people. We want our customers to look and feel beautiful. We believe in providing stellar customer service as well as quick order processing and shipping. We hope that whenever customers shop with us, it’s an enjoyable experience.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If we could go back in time, we would have started much sooner. Being black female entrepreneurs has been such a learning experience.
