Terrie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Caring for the body has always been an interest and passion of mine. Especially after caring for my deceased mother before her untimely demise. We (my twin and I) promised to make a difference in the health care field. So my work is dedicated to honoring my loving mother who taught me love and compassion for others throughout her life.
For the past eleven years that passion has blossomed and grown into a career and my own business Aspire Touch Massage & Wellness. Aspire Touch focus is a therapeutic approach to mental and physical well being by releasing ailing pain, tension, and stress from medical or physical situations. Aspire Touch is a heartwarming business built on dedication, love, and compassion.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every company has its struggles, yet the struggles build the bond of commitment and dedication. Marketing was my biggest struggle …. when, where and how to invest in marketing? But I began to realize it was the loyalty of my clients, their opinion and their word of mouth that really mattered to the growth of my business.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Aspire Touch Massage & Wellness story. Tell us more about the business.
With my nurturing and compassionate heart, I immediately began to build bonds and connections with my clients gaining their confidence in my ability to relieve pain, tension, and stress. Entrusting me to stimulate their physical mental and emotional being and remain confidential with their personal life situations. Aspire Touch Massage & Wellness is a Massage clinic specializing in therapeutic and medical treatment providing affordable massages. My ultimate goals is to reach out to those in my area who have a lack of knowledge of massage therapy and patients who are dealing with shyness of their physical shape for massages and those who love massages.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
My life and my passion for this has not been directed or decided by luck but rather by faith and guidance towards my calling and a gift of love.
