Meet Avery Earl of Avery Earl Photography in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Avery Earl.

Avery, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a camera in my hands. Going outside with a camera in my hands has always been my favorite way to spend my time. During high school, I knew that I wanted to be a photographer and I started taking pictures of anyone that would step in front of my camera.

By the Fall of my Freshman year of college, I realized that my business was going in the exact direction that I wanted it to. I started to book family photoshoots and weddings and fell absolutely in love with my job. I couldn’t believe the amount of joy that capturing moments for other people was giving me.

Now, as a Junior in college, I am a full-time Wedding and Portrait Photography serving DFW. Never in my life would I have thought that at 20 years old I would be owning and operating a full-time business. It has been one of the greatest blessings and joys of my life!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a full-time college student and a full-time photographer has been a challenge. I am constantly reevaluating how I am spending my time, how to balance work/life, and learning how to balance everything and do it all with excellence. I’ve learned a lot about time management and hard work. I’ve learned the value of hard work and the importance of making priorities.

Please tell us about Avery Earl Photography.
I am a Wedding, Portrait, and Motherhood Photographer. My age sets my part automatically (I am 2o years old and began my business at the age of 18). From other photographers, I am set apart being I am a film photographer. I believe in the importance of timeless, classic, and romantic photography. Being a film photographer allows me to be a better-skilled photographer, create a better product, and ensure the photos that I take will be as beautiful in 20 years as they are now. I am most proud of how quickly my business has grown and of being a Film Photographer.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I probably would have start learning film photographer sooner in my career. I have always wanted to be a film photographer, but didn’t officially take that step until early this year.
