Today we’d like to introduce you to Ayra Springs-Foster.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ayra. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I grew up in Plano, Texas where I enjoyed socializing with my friends. I’ve always been the friend that enjoyed getting everyone together for an event… I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007. While at Ohio State, I worked for the Office of Commencement and Special Events where I planned events for the university president. I also assisted in planning our quarterly commencements. When I moved back to Dallas, I planned my wedding alongside a well-known planner and florist. I fell in love with event planning all over again during my wedding planning experience. Thus, leading me to get certified as a wedding and event planner at University of Texas at Arlington.
After getting certified, Inspired by Faith Weddings & Events was born in 2009. I’m very passionate about providing a very personable service to my clients so they don’t feel like they’re just a number. We plan weddings, social soirees, elegant affairs, and nonprofit events. We specialize in high end fetes that leave clients and their guests in awe. I enjoy planning in Dallas because this is my hometown. I’m honored to have the network of vendors that I have because we all have a history together. They trust me with their clients because they know I’m always going to go above and beyond to make sure everyone is more than satisfied.
Event planning is my passion that I continue to fall in love with each year. I love planning here in Dallas and wherever this phenomenal journey leads me. I’ll keep perfecting my craft to make sure I’m delivering stellar service to my clients.
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve been blessed to have a pretty smooth road starting and running my business. The biggest challenge for me is balancing my personal and work life. I’m a perfectionist; which leads me to constantly be hard at work for my clients even when the work day has ended.
I’m the mom of an amazing seven year old little boy. He keeps me very busy. Being a working mom can be a challenge in this day and age because you want your children to be active. I always have to make sure my son is a priority. I’ve learned through the years that at some point during the day my clients shut down from work. I have to do the same. During this time, I enjoy moments away from work by spending time with my son. This joy recharges me so I can be the best event planner possible for my clients.

Inspired by Faith Weddings & Events is a boutique event planning firming. I deal with a limited clientele so I can deliver the best service possible. I never want someone to feel like their event isn’t important. I give ample time to all my clients. Unfortunately, our industry is known for not being responsive. I pride myself on providing great customer service. I always respond in a timely manner. I want my clients to enjoy working with me, and know that I do my best to make their event one of a kind.
We specialize in weddings offering: month of coordination, partial wedding planning, and full service wedding planning. We also plan social and charity events. I’m proud of the diverse clientele that I have been able to service. I enjoy helping people from all walk of life. We’ve won awards and been published in locally and nationally. It’s a blessing to experience the amount of growth that we’ve seen.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think Dallas is a great place for a business like mine because there are many corporate headquarters. Dallas is very diverse city. Therefore, there are many people in the city that need an event planner. It’s an established city where having an event planner has become a necessity to ensure the event’s success. We have amazing vendors in Dallas that make my job easier.
Dallas is a city that is constantly growing so that definitely leads to more growth in business. For someone that is just starting out Dallas is a great fit. Dallas has a lot to offer to new business owners.
