Meet B. Al

Today we’d like to introduce you to B. Al.

Hi B., so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Brandon Allen and I go by the stage name of B. Al. I’m originally from Detroit, MI and moved to Dallas, TX for a better living condition and a fresh start after high school… I always use to freestyle from time to time on the bus going to school. I also use to freestyle a lot on the porch with one of my close friends back home he’s like a little brother to me we use to call it Porch Status. I recorded my first song ever in 2012 just to see how I sound. I use to just make music for my enjoyment only but I started taking rapping more serious in 2019. And now I’m here today

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road wasn’t smooth at all. I thought that it was going to be based on the success of some other rappers. I had to scratch things off and go back to the drawing board a couple times. I thought I had everything figured out but I’m still working on smoothing out the road to success.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a rapper, I specialize in making struggle songs that tell my story of how I came up and where I want to be. I’m known for my lyrics and metaphors. I was most proud of my growth doing music also the fact that my streams are constantly going up. What’s sets me apart from others is the fact that I can make any type of song from hype, female tracks, trap music, storytelling honestly whatever.

What makes you happy?
Waking up every day and being able to do what I want rather that’s grinding, relaxing, and of course making music. I love those things because that’s what keeps me going especially the waking up everyday part
