Today we’d like to introduce you to B.Marcelle.
B.Marcelle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My current business started out as a daydream. I was a dental assistant for almost a decade and then I became a stay at home to four children, one with special needs. I had the urge to be more than who I was at the time. One day, I said enough already its time to live and chase my dream and purpose. It was hard working 9 to 5 with four children. I knew I needed to be my own boss and set my own schedule. I grew to have a hobby for makeup.
So I decided to create my own since I loved it so much! I wanted to be a hands-on mother and My 5 yr old son is a big influence and one of many reasons I started. He is diagnosed with Spina Bifida, which is a birth defect where the spine did not develop while in the womb. He also suffers from hydrocephalus which is fluid on the brain. He has a shunt inside his brain, which is a device that drains the fluid and pressure of his brain(which can be very dangerous) So a long story short I created an eye shadow palette in my cosmetics line to honor him and all who are diagnosed with the condition Spina Bifida! I want to raise awareness because I knew not many people had the knowledge and don’t know how severe it can be, One day I hope to give back to the Spina Bifida community and help other mothers who have children with a disability. I can definitely relate and just want to give back! I believe that’s my purpose!
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been easy. As I mentioned before the struggles of being a mother and now a business owner. I am learning to balance the two.

I have a cosmetics line. My products are vegan and cruelty-free. I carry eyeshadow, lipstick/gloss, mink lashes and women apparel. I am proud because as I stated I am raising Spina Bifida awareness with my beauty line! I don’t know too many brands that connect healthcare with makeup!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I have only lived in Dallas for two years, I moved from Houston, tx! But, I was born in Austin, tx! I love Dallas and so glad I moved here, I honestly don’t think I would have grown and become a business owner if I did not make that move! I am not even a football fan but fell in love with the Dallas Cowboys lol! Attending home games have to be my favorite part! I don’t have anything bad to say about Dallas! I miss Houston but Dallas is better in my opinion.
