Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Taylor.
Bailey, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve been in the tattoo industry for seven years now. I started apprenticing in California and made my way back to Texas when I finished. I have always been an art nerd so tattooing was a natural choice for me. It’s been a rocky road working in the tattoo industry but working at the Henderson Collective has been the best opportunity and I have been able to grow exponentially here.
Has it been a smooth road?
No definitely not. The tattoo industry is still very much a group of pirates. I’ve wanted to quit many times because I was unhappy with the work environment. That is why the Henderson Collective is so important to me. I had provided me with a safe haven where I can work and perfect my craft.
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I specialize in realistic color roses and portrait work. And pride on customer service.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Dallas has been good to me. The tattoo scene is pretty impressive out here as well. There are so many talented artists but this is a great city to tattoo in.
