Thanks for sharing your story with us Bama. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I’ve been doing music since I was 14. I relocated to Dallas a few years ago after leaving school in Atlanta.
I started djing while in school, then transitioned here to Dallas where I continued my career.
I started performing at Dallas open mic just like every other artist until eventually, I became a part of the Dallas open mic team. Now, I dj there every Tuesday night.
I also dj other spots around the metroplex as well. It’s challenging to find a balance in the home life, being an artist, dj, & full-blown entrepreneur all at once.
Not too many can say they do all these things, which is why I take pride in all my work.
I hope to become a cornerstone in Dallas hip hop. And bring not just the hip hop community, but the entire creative community together as one.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No road worth traveling is easy.
I’ve struggled financially, mentally.
I’ve had some business endeavors that have gone south and kinda took me backwards.
Please tell us about Artists With Attitude.
Well, my production company is Artists With Attitude.
We specialize in facilitating the production needs of artists.
I’m also in the process of building a marketing company by the name of Phoreign Solutions;
Which will specialize in promotion, marketing, and branding.
I’ve been blessed and fortunate enough to travel across the country and connect with different people from all over.
I think what sets me apart, are the resources I am able to provide an artist or brand.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would’ve focused on one aspect, instead of taking on so many different roles at once.

- Artist Consultation – $50 hourly
- Mixing & Mastering – $75 per track
