Meet Bianca Robinson of Supreme Tax Solutions in North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Robinson.

Bianca, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Masters in Management Information Systems. I had been interested in Accounting and Tax since I was in high school. Since I was 14 years old, I had always maintained employment and always filed my own tax return since the age of 14. When I graduated from Texas A&M University, I also obtained became a Certified Public Accountant. After college, I worked in public accounting for Deloitte, one of the largest public accounting firms in the world. My passion always has been all things dealing with financial services, from accounting, tax, credit. My mom worked for a personal tax firm for ten years as I was growing up before she started working for the IRS. She always encouraged me to open my own tax and accounting company because of my knowledge and passion of the field, and especially since I was a CPA.

On top of that, as a CPA in the personal tax business, there were some many advantages and opportunities. CPAs are certified to handle any sort of tax and accounting situation, unlike other tax practitioners. Besides knowing your financial health, CPAs can create a budget to help people with unpaid taxes, work out payment plans with the IRS for taxes and spot areas where you can save money or invest. Many people and businesses hire CPAs to do monthly accounting to help keep track of costs and financial planning. A CPA can also advise businesses on investments, inventory, restructuring, and sales or mergers.CPAs are certified by both the state and government.

So in June 2018, I created Supreme Tax Solutions LLC, my own company specializing in accounting and taxes for individuals and small businesses. I also assist with credit education and restoring credit for individuals. I did this all while maintaining my corporate job, I became a full time corporate manager in finance and entrepreneur.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Honestly, with the support of my family and friends, I have been able to exceed all my goals since I started the business. I had a vision and a plan. I did research on all the requirements by the state and things that were important to succeed. I sat down and had meetings with other owners with similar companies for direction and it was really helpful. I did have doubts, in the beginning, could I run this business? Could it be successful? It was not easy, it was time consuming and frustrating at times. But I believed in myself and with the belief of others and a lot of hard work and dedication. I was able to obtain clientele and begin the journey as a successful entrepreneur.

We’d love to hear more about your business.

My company specializes in personal and small business taxes, accounting and bookkeeping, credit education and credit repair for individuals. For the first year, I was mainly known for personal and small business tax assistance returns. This year things have really taken off along with taxes, I assist a lot with credit education and helping individuals repair their credit.

I am most proud that I just have the opportunity to help others, and in some cases, change people’s lives. Preparing taxes and understanding taxes can be a huge burden for some people. As a professional, I have a gained a lot of knowledge that most individuals don’t have. Taxes can be very complex. I have helped people save money and obtain money they did not know they were entitled to.

Many people have come to me needing help restoring their credit in order to buy houses and cars, to be able to help and see their dreams come true is a blessing. All while achieving my dream to be an entrepreneur and own my own business. I think the biggest thing that sets my company apart from others is my certification and my knowledge. Most tax preparers are not CPA. Anyone can apply for PTIN (tax preparer identification) and prepare taxes. There is no education requirements. I have work in public accounting and industry for over eight years. I have been dealing with tax preparation for 15+ years. Plus, I have the knowledge of my mother who works for the IRS to fall back on.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up playing basketball. I played basketball since I was six years old through my sophomore year in high school. Basketball was my life and it was all I cared about. I played year around, in school and in summer leagues. My junior year in high school I realized I would never be of the likes of Lisa Leslie, so I began to focus on school and college and what I wanted my future to be. Since I was 14, I always had a part-time job during the summer to earn extra money and my parents taught us independence money management at a very young age.
