Thanks for sharing your story with us Glenn. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Big Hit Creative Group, formerly known as Big Hit Productions, was formed in 2005 initially as a video production company. Our purpose was to create independent films for viewer enjoyment, film festivals and mainstream distribution.
Our first 5 years in business we spent building a portfolio of work and relationships with other film enthusiast in the community. In order to raise capital, our team began doing pro-bono work for small clients, like churches, non-profits, charter schools and anyone that would let us in.
In 2010 we partnered with a local media sales rep with Time Warner Cable and quickly became his go to company for low budget TV commercial production. After about three years of that, some of our clients began to ask about additional services. Excited for the opportunity to grow, we partnered with a web developer and a graphic designer to begin to offer more.
In 2014 we decided that we needed to change the name to more accurately describe who we were and hoped to be as a company. So, we decided to go with Big Hit Creative Group. We didn’t want to stray too far from our current look so as to not confuse our clients, we kept the same logo.
After this change of direction we evolved further into more service offerings which include Digital Strategy, Video Animation, Package Design, SEO, Mobile Application Design & Development, Web Development, Traditional and Digital Advertising.
Big Hit Creative Group is now a Full-Service Marketing Agency serving the greater North Texas area looking to expand our team and reach.
When visiting, you might notice our bright clean office environment, vibrant furniture and colorful decorations. You will see signs of vintage art and a 1960’s Mad Men Ad Agency poster. We like to discuss movies, tell stories about our families and events for a brief spell between projects, then back to the grind.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth ride, I can honestly say that no one has ever handed anything to us. We truly pour our hearts into every project. We’re passionate and only give the best every single time.
Since we run a small core team, I tend to feel that may be a concern for some of the larger brands. You know? The worry of weather we have the bandwidth to handle larger tasks, but in the last 14 years we’ve never had that problem.
Please tell us about Big Hit Creative.
Well, our core offering is design, we’re a creative agency. We produce marketing style videos. We build websites. We design and produce marketing collateral.
Our clients know us for being accommodating, honest, easy to work with, full of ideas and most of all great at what we do.
What sets us apart from other companies is that our principals are very much involved with every project. We like to see it all they way through to the end and on to distribution. And since many of the services we provide require a next step, we like to stay with our clients and walk them through it. For example, when we build a site, we like to make sure it’s structure is SEO ready and provide the ongoing SEO and digital marketing for it. Or when we design a brochure or promotional item, we work with printers to ensure that it comes out exactly the way our clients visualized it.
I’m proud to help our clients reach their potential in business, whether it’s a small to mid-sized company or a non-profit foundation. We love what we do.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood… Hmmm… There were so many. I suppose I’ll say when I was picked to play a hunter in a 1st grade play “Little Red Riding Hood.”
