Brandon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Flykonic was created in February of 2013, capturing the essence of the fashion industry from vintage apparel to the source of timeless fashion. Collectively, the Flykonic brand allows all age groups and genders to represent an extraordinary trend and blissful lifestyle.
Flykonic also expresses a positive tactic to assist the general public through local charities and reaching out to the masses through social media. It is most often said that style exemplifies a popular trend or a fad, but inevitably when you wear Flykonic, you become the icon. Flykonic is merely swag development at its finest. It’s not just a clothing line; it’s a lifestyle.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I can be real, and say this hasn’t always been the easiest job. There’s a lot that goes on behind the brand that I make sure, my clients won’t see…but the fact that this is my passion, and I live this lifestyle daily, my drive for success, makes it easy! I truly LOVE WHAT I DO.
Please tell us about Flykonic Clothing Brand.
Here at Flykonic, we specialize in urban fashion, unique styles, designs, and hottest sneakers. I aim to share my creative mind with the world, not just the people who look like me. I am most proud of the fact that I started out as a young kid from South Dallas with a vision, and I have grown into a man living out my dreams. It is truly a blessing to have a successful growing legacy, I can leave for my children. I wasn’t always fortunate enough to have any handouts growing up, so I literally started this business, not knowing if it would fail or not. I sold t-shirts out of the same vehicle, I sometimes slept in. I was blessed enough to have someone see the drive, and hustle in me, and he began to support my dream as well. He even allowed me to sleep on his couch. To this day, Chino, is and always be my business partner, my bestfriend, and my brother. We’ve come a long way. We eat, sleep and breathe FLYKONIC, so I take pride in all things that reflect it.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I can remember drawing clothes and all these fashion related…I didn’t have any money so I couldn’t afford to dress like I desired. I kept my dream, and I knew one day it would come true.
