Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Spence.
Hi Brandon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
So where do I begin? I was born inside of the Dallas Metroplex and have always had an desire to explore. As soon as I got my first car I was out and about exploring the city. I had a knack for adventures so every time I could I would explore a new area I’d never been to before to see what it had to offer.
Fast forward a bit and I began to date my gorgeous wife Chuntel and like all couples we loved to eat. She was a natural explorer as well and we would literally be willing to travel anywhere in the metroplex for amazing food. I started posting random photos of our adventures and someone mentioned that we should look into becoming serious in this niche because we explored places off the beaten path and this was back in 2012.
So, we started capturing moments and posting them on Instagram and slowly started gaining traction. As time passed, I’ve gained an interest in photography and videography. I began to learn tips and tricks about angles, lighting, editing, and storytelling which has lead to quite an amazing stretch so far. I’m currently a part of few Organizations that allow me to flex one of these muscle often. Currently, I’m a Nudge Dallas Contributor, Atmosfy Concierge, Franki Local, and one of The Connect Dallas Content Editors. I recommend looking each of these Org’s up as they all offer a unique experience for DFW and beyond.
I love sharing my experiences with others as well as being one of the 1st to explore new restaurants and other local unique experiences in the city!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
So, I can honestly that my journey has been fairly smooth outside of the ever so changing social media algorithm struggles. This often time discourages creativity for me personally and drains my drive to be consistent which is key.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So, I’m what you call a Creative and my niche is all things Food. So, we travel around the metroplex exploring new and old eatery’s that offer some of the best bites and/or experiences in the Metroplex.
I’m most proud that I have gained a following to share my experiences with and connected with so many like-minded individuals while doing so!
I believe what sets me apart from others is my love for sharing authentic experiences that are obtainable for any and everyone.
What do you think about luck?
This is a interesting question because I’m a firm believer of hard work and quality. As long as you are working on growing your skillset and focused on producing quality work “luck” will follow suit in pushing you to the next level of whatever you are doing.
