Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Wigfall.
Hi Brandon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started a few years ago in 2015 working for a large apartment company in Dallas and I worked as a leasing agent in the office. I learned so much about the apartment industry, real estate, and PEOPLE. I found it very fascinating to talk to people get to know them and help find a place. After a few years in the apartment industry, I was working one day and a customer comes in with an Apartment locator. At this time apartment locators are free service that is now being offered to people looking for an apartment. After speaking to the customer, I found out that they were moving from out of state and the locator was showing the areas she thought was best fit. Then, I asked the locator where they were from and the response was from out of state. I told them both I was born and raised in Dallas and love this city! The customer then wanted more recommendations for things around town. When the tour finished, I thought to myself I need to be an apartment locator! After some time being an apartment locator, I transitioned into being Realtor since some of my clients were wanting to now buy a home! Which has lead me where we are today as your Dallas Realtor but still severing those who may need to still rent.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some struggles along the way made the road not so smooth at times but though faith I was able to overcome. I had money saved and was ready to get my real estate license. The Super Bowl Sunday on my way home from work, I was involved a car wreck. I was in a hit and run by drunk driver which caused me to roll over three times. I was able to walk away with only a partial torn rotator cuff and a totaled car. Now getting my license was put on hold because the money saved would be the money needed. I missed worked a couple weeks because of my injury. My commute to work would look different. I took a ride share or mostly DART (bus and Train) to get back to work. My days now were much longer because of the commute for the time being from early mornings to late nights getting home. Honestly, when I look back it the days I had to get up earlier to catch the bus then make the train and late evenings were prepping me for who I am today.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in real estate in Dallas- Ft Worth Metroplex. Known for helping my clients buy, sale, or lease real estate. What sets me apart is that I do what’s best for customer/client it’s not about pushing that sale so your pockets look great. It’s about what is best fitting for the customer. I’m not the Realtor just in the “luxury” market; I am in all markets because everyone deserves a home. I am most proud of being a realtor born and raised in Dallas.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as whatever personal goal you set for yourself. For me, it was getting my real estate license after a few bumps in the road. Now I have set more goals for my future self to have the success I want.
