So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Hix Hardy can credit his neighbors in Keller with inspiring both the start and second growth phase of his company. When one new neighbor moved in and put about 200 cardboard boxes on the curb, Hardy got to thinking. He asked his wife if she would buy those boxes for about half of their price when they were new. “We gathered up those boxes and put them in a metal building,” Hardy said, “We put up a banner that basically said moving boxes for half off- they sold right away. Hardy realized we may have something going.
Now about myself I’m the manager of Best Price Boxes in Keller. I have been in the moving industry about 21 years, with outside Sales/Marketing. Prior that the moving business I worked in retail. When Best Price Boxes open I remember thinking if I ever get the opportunity to work at BPB store I would not turn it down, little did I know 1 1/2 years ago my GM gave the that opportunity and I took it.
Has it been a smooth road?
No can’t said it was, first 6 months I heard a lot from customers (I never know BPB was here),
