Meet Brianna Alvarran of New Jersey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Alvarran.

Hi Brianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Brianna – a 25 year old nursing student who has been in school since I could remember. I graduated highschool in 2019, and that year my little sister was born. As the oldest daughter, starting college was just another item on my plate. I had to juggle caring for my baby sister, getting the grades, cleaning, making sure homework was done, all while working at 2 of my family’s businesses. Throughout it all – my love for content creation has always been a big part of my emotional release. Content creation gives me the ability to be fully creative and expressive with my love for beauty and lifestyle. I’ve always been in and out of it with content creation, but in 2025 I decided to fully focus on growing my social media and it changed my life forever. I was juggling working at my family’s small businesses, nursing school, babysitting my sister, taking care of the house AND content creation. I loved every single moment of it and the more I filmed and posted videos, the more opportunities came about. Content creation has given me the ability to be creative and get a small sense of peace away from such a busy and hectic lifestyle.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Ever since I could remember, I have always filmed and posted content sporadically. In my earlier days of content creating at 20 years old, I realized I might be embarrassing myself. The fear of embarrassment would prohibit me from going all in, and thats when I would lose the momentum. When I started taking it seriously, it was definitely challenging to juggle all the tasks I was carrying but It also filled me with so much happiness. I would get home from a 16 hour shift and just film, edit, plan content and that was so therapeutic to me. Sometimes, I would be too exhausted from my responsibilities that I would miss a day or not give my best when It came to creating content. Time and time again, I would tell myself to keep pushing because I knew it would change my life forever.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am currently a second semester nursing student! I recently started nursing school in Spring of 2026 and I absolutely love it. Before nursing school, I was an aspiring physician. Due to life circumstances, finances, and all of the above – I decided nursing was a better route for me. I genuinely enjoy being there for those who need it – and comforting them along the way, no matter what it is. I am hoping to become a pediatric nurse in the near future and help bring smiles to all the little kids I’ll meet along the way!

I am most proud of my resilience throughout it all because getting to nursing school is an accomplishment – but alot of failures came before. When I was pre-med, I was failing classes and not knowing how to study and it was truly a difficult time. It affected my self esteem and made me feel incapable of accomplishing anything. Even when I felt like I was failing and failing again, I got up the next day and tried again. I think this is where I can speak to my own strength and resilience – because even though I failed, I always tried again and it led me to starting a wonderful nursing program.

I would say my discipline and work ethic sets me apart! I work over 70 hours a week with my parents and even though theres not much balance, when you have businesses balance can get tricky. Even when I’m tired or exhausted, I still make sure I’m planning my content, editing it, responding to emails, etc. I can speak to my own work ethic and discipline and I truly think it sets me apart.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Life is all about taking risks! I grew up being very introverted/shy and would never be the first one to speak in any classroom. As I grew older, I realized I had so many dreams that I wanted to accomplish – but was scared of failure or embarrassment. I think growth happens when risks are taken, and success comes from taking multiple high value risks. I knew that the life I wanted for myself was on the other side of posting that video or emailing that brand, so I did it. I started being myself, I put myself out there and the opportunities that came from that risk was worth it at the end.
