Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Gonzales.
Brianna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started as a social media intern for a few local Dallas businesses. I was really aiming to find an internship in my college town but I was turned away from all the agencies I had applied for so that’s when I decided to create my own business out of it. I began to network and meet other small business owners which ultimately inspired me to start The Social Chica.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
In the beginning, I felt unsure about it given I am still a full-time college student so I didn’t think people would really take me or my business seriously.
Please tell us about The Social Chica.
The Social Chica specializes in social media management & branding. I help businesses grow through social media by creating brand awareness through publishing daily content that is aimed to increase their audience. It also includes monitoring the client’s social media platforms. I also create logos & websites.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I think I would’ve allowed myself to have more time to plan everything out instead of just jumping right into it, but in ways, I’m glad I did because had I not done so I probably would’ve never gone through with it.
