Meet Brielle Pogue of Pogue Entertainment Group in North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brielle Pogue.

Brielle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have worked for music and artist development companies for over fifteen years. Three years ago, I started my own artist development company, and it is the highlight of my life. Studying the arts, I became an Opera singer and pianist, however, I realized early my passion to develop and manage artists. Voice has always interested me so, I began technical voice coaching and from that base branched into clients’ artistic development. Pogue Entertainment Group developed as a result consisting of voice, dance, instrumental, songwriting, PR, and social media experts. The company has a roster of prestigious instructors whose resumes range from Bon Jovi to Cardi B. I have had many success stories thus far whit artists. One of which is Tori Kay who this past year signed with Sony Sm1. I anticipate many other success stories in the near future.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some challenges along the way have been and are structure, time, and money. It had proven difficult to structure creativity and art. Both of these in their best forms should be free-flowing. Finally, after three years, I have created AMAZING programs. I have worked relentlessly each day for fourteen plus hours, and clients typically joke that I’m married to my career. Every dollar that I have made, I have reinvested into the company. I have purchased full show equipment, a training facility, event sponsorships, and trips for the benefit of the artists I work for. These three challenges have proven hard at times but are equally worth every moment.

The core mission of Pogue Entertainment Group regardless of the path of each client is to Change the World One Art at a Time. Most importantly, what has set us apart is our viewpoint on giveback. 10% of the company is scholarship driven, and each month PEG is apart of a giveback event where clients use their talents to bring awareness to charitable causes. PEG has featured artists at various nursing homes, St. Judes Hospital free seminars for at-risk kids, and many more givebacks.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory is the time when I discovered the truth about the tooth fairy. Being really sad and confused, I looked up at my grandmother and asked why. She looked down on me with love and from that point on this whole situation really molded the way I viewed life.
