Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I witnessed the people closest to me struggle to develop and/or maintain long-term connections in adulthood. It was becoming a widespread issue in society. I longed to overshadow the intensity of depression in others by creating memorable moments infused with love. The sole purpose of my company, Ginger Me Events, is to fix these omnipresent fragments in connections and reinstate emotional stability. I am passionate about showing the world that love, healing, and culture is the best blueprint to bridge relational gaps.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, the road has not been smooth! There has been many days that I wanted to “throw in the towel.” The “Ginger Me Events” family is my greatest motivation! Attendees instantly become a part of a bigger movement that supports harmony and love when they attend events. Fortunately, I have a great support system that reminds me of why my company is important. We host an array of meet-ups/mixers for those looking to meaningfully engage. Our most popular programs are our speed dating events. They are fun, professional, and perfect for those who are looking for something different. The biggest obstacle thus far is to encourage more men to attend the speed dating events. Some men may find speed dating daunting or may feel uncomfortable attending an event to meet prospective dates. But they soon find out that the vibe is very inviting when they arrive. Usually, the male attendees enjoy themselves so much that they are last to leave the affairs!

Ginger Me Events LLC is an event planning company that promotes love, healing, and culture into every interaction. We pride ourselves in offering “good, clean fun!” Our goals is to get you to put your phone down and interact face-to-face with others. We are most known for our speed dating events. Our speed dating/singles mixers are different from the rest because every event offers a different theme. You may take a trip to Paris by attending our French-themed inspired mixer or “Make A Strike At Love” at our annual speed dating & bowling event! We love to surprise you!
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is eating homemade chocolate iced birthday cake with my siblings. My mother made sure to incorporate rituals in our family so that we always felt connected. Her love was abundant. Authentic love outweighs material items. Nothing was better than eating a hot slice of cake and getting a “stay up late pass” to watch the Martin television show!
