I began my journey by being obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit to move to Texas. At the time, I had just come out of an ungodly engagement and was in a season of rebuilding my life and faith. During this period, God led me to start a YouTube channel called Kingdom Building Faith, where I share my faith walk, personal testimonies, and encouragement to others navigating their own journeys with God.
After relocating to Texas, I secured a role as a recruiter. It was there that I discovered a deep passion for placing the right people in the right positions. What started as a job quickly became a calling, and I fell in love with the staffing industry and the impact it has on individuals and organizations alike.
Following a season of layoffs, I once again leaned into obedience and faith, and in August I stepped out to launch my own staffing agency, KBF Staffing LLC. In addition to staffing, I also operate an apparel brand rooted in my obedience to God and my commitment to sharing my testimony. I sell Kingdom Building Faith apparel through TikTok Shop and Shopify under @KingdomBuildingFaith, using the brand as another avenue to inspire, uplift, and glorify God.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. The journey has been filled with moments of uncertainty, stretching seasons of faith, and times where I had to fully rely on God rather than my own understanding.
One of the biggest struggles was starting over—relocating to a new state after coming out of an ungodly engagement while trying to rebuild emotionally, spiritually, and financially. There were moments of loneliness and doubt, especially when things didn’t move as quickly as I expected.
Professionally, being laid off was another major challenge. It tested my confidence and forced me to confront fear, insecurity, and the question of whether I was truly hearing God clearly. Starting KBF Staffing LLC required stepping out on faith without guaranteed income, clients, or stability. Learning the business side of entrepreneurship—finances, compliance, marketing, and sales—while trusting God for provision was not easy.
Building Kingdom Building Faith also came with challenges. Being vulnerable and sharing my testimony publicly required courage. At times, I faced discouragement, slow growth, and the pressure of consistency while balancing business responsibilities.
Despite these struggles, every obstacle strengthened my faith, sharpened my obedience, and clarified my purpose. What once felt like setbacks became confirmation that God was preparing me for greater responsibility and impact. Through every challenge, I learned to trust God’s timing, remain obedient, and keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t clear.
