Let’s GLOW Tanning Co. was inspired by my own journey with self-confidence. After becoming an amputee at 21, I struggled with body image and understanding what confidence truly meant. Over the years, I realized that confidence isn’t about perfection—it’s about feeling good in your own skin. I wanted to create something that helped others experience that same feeling.
Spray tanning has always been something I loved because it’s such a simple yet powerful way to enhance your natural beauty. I saw an opportunity to bring a high-quality tanning experience to our area, and that’s how Let’s GLOW was born. My goal was to create a welcoming space where people feel comfortable, taken care of, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
Watching my clients step out with a fresh tan and a renewed sense of confidence is what makes this journey so rewarding. Let’s GLOW is more than just a spray tan—it’s about helping people shine from the inside out, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of that.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like any journey, starting Let’s GLOW Tanning Co. hasn’t been entirely smooth, but every challenge has made it more rewarding. Stepping into the beauty industry as an amputee, I had moments of doubt—wondering if people would take me seriously or if I’d be able to perfect my technique with one hand. But I refused to let that hold me back.
Beyond personal challenges, starting a business comes with its own set of obstacles—learning the ins and outs of running a studio, building a client base, and making sure every tan is flawless. There were times I questioned if I was doing the right thing, but seeing my clients leave feeling beautiful and refreshed reminds me why I started.
It hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Every struggle has pushed me to grow, and I’m so proud of what Let’s GLOW is becoming.

Every tan is tailored to the individual’s skin tone and preferences, ensuring a flawless, natural-looking result. My goal is to create a welcoming space where people feel comfortable, pampered, and leave glowing—inside and out.

I take the time to understand my clients’ needs, making sure they feel confident in their results. One of the things I’m most proud of is the impact Let’s GLOW has had on my clients. There’s nothing better than seeing someone step out of my studio standing a little taller, smiling a little bigger, and feeling amazing in their own skin. That’s what this business is all about.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I believe that taking risks is an essential part of growth—whether in business or in life. While I wouldn’t consider myself someone who takes reckless risks, I do believe in stepping outside of my comfort zone and betting on myself.
Starting Let’s GLOW Tanning Co. was one of the biggest risks I’ve taken. Like any new business, there were no guarantees of success. I had to invest time, money, and energy into something I was passionate about, without knowing how it would turn out. There were moments of doubt, but I reminded myself that the biggest rewards come from taking chances.
To me, risk-taking isn’t about being fearless—it’s about feeling the fear and doing it anyway. Every challenge I’ve faced has taught me something valuable, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without taking that leap of faith. I’ve learned that sometimes, the best things in life come from the moments when you decide to believe in yourself, even when the outcome is uncertain.
