Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Peterson.
Brittany, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We are a family of violinists who began performing together at very early ages and have continued to perform ever since! Our mother, Allison, was taught to play violin by her sister. She then taught her five daughters to play and for that, we are forever grateful!
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a smooth road! Clients love our energy and our innovative style of music!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Uptown Violins – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We all have a love for traditional classical music along with jazz, pop, rock, alternative, country, etc.! I have been arranging music where we mix the genres and create a fun new way to play and listen to music so that every genre is covered! We also perform with other instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, viola, and cello.
Depending on the type of performance, we include playing on both acoustic or electric instruments! The love for music and each other makes our “work” more like “play”. The audience loves to see this “play” in action because it exudes a very positive energy! Traveling and experiencing new cultures is also something we love to incorporate into our performing lives! Audiences from all over the world have heard us perform and we look forward to traveling more in our future!
