Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Clark.
Brittney, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have been a stay at home mom for almost 8 years now with some work in between. I am always looking for ways to hustle and bring in money. I had a girl who spray tanned me and would come to my house who ended up moving to Michigan. After she moved I started looking into learning how to do it and starting my own mobile business. I bought all the equipment, watched several videos, practiced on so many people and launched Bronzed By Brittney in April 2019.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been too bad. There are busy times and then there are not so busy times, so you have to take the good with the bad and I think that comes with any type of business.
Tell us more about the business.
I am a mobile spray tanning company, which means I will travel to your home or business so that they don’t have to leave the comfort of their home. I spray tan moms, busy working women, bloggers/influencers, and even men. I am proud of the way I brought Bronzed By Brittney from nothing to something, and when I go to spray tan a client how they found out about me and all the great things others have shared about me or my business.
I think what sets me apart from others is how I am solely a travel based business. A lot of other tanning businesses are usually out of their home or a suite business. I give them a one on one no fuss experience. I love giving people the ability to not have to leave their home. I also have CBD infused spray tans for an extra price which so many people have loved. My goal is to leave them feeling gorgeous!
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t know if I will say luck has played a part, but it helps knowing people who want to help you grow your business. Word of mouth is huge, as well as, social media. I will say I have been blessed with some of the best clients, so I think that is where I get lucky.
