Hello, we are Dominique Yvette and Brittney Marie of Yvette and Marie Events. Yvette and Marie is based in Houston and Dallas, Texas. It all began with an idea and after a year of planning and taking courses related to our profession, we accepted our first wedding. Like building anything from scratch, we were dedicated a lot of time, made a lot of sacrifices, and learned from all our mistakes.
We got where we are today by mastering the art of service. We pay close attention to detail, we are systematic planners, and we believe in practicing the art of professionalism. Most importantly, we hold relationships with our clients, their families, and vendors above all things. We listen, we care, we advocate. Our goal is to be at your wedding and or event because you want us there.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t all a smooth road. We would be lying if we said we didn’t face our fair challenges emotionally, physically, and financially. We overcame them because we believed in each other, we believed in our business, and we believed in our vision. Working as sisters, we had a special connection and we pushed each other to be the best we could be.

We are an Event Planning and Coordination Company that specializes in weddings. We offer day-of-coordination, partial planning, and full-service wedding planning. We are known for providing exceptional service and having an intimate relationship with our clients. It is imperative to us that our clients know we are advocating for them every step of the way.
We are most proud of the relationship we built with our clients and vendors. We believe what sets us apart is how we nurture our relationships with our clients. Not every couple is the same, but our exceptional service never changes.
