Meet Bryson Cook of Wolf Pack Receiving

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryson Cook.

Bryson, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My wife and I had recently moved into our new home. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood, clean streets, and the people are friendly. I wasn’t sure of the crime rate. Being a Marine veteran and a former cop, I was suspicious. Before I bought my new truck, I had a bucket (beat-up car) and would purchase auto parts for it. Plus, with the new digs, my wife was shopping online too. We would have almost everything sent to my mom’s house 70 miles away to make sure we got our stuff. I love my mom but driving 140 miles or having to wait to get it wasn’t working. I knew there was a better way. During the Christmas season, we are all familiar with the stories about the porch pirates, and then it clicked. My love of service and my background met head-on, Wolf Pack Receiving was born. I bought a copy of “Starting a business for dummies” and a copy of Tim Ferris’ book “The 4-hour workweek” and I was off and running. More like stumbling.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it has not been a smooth road but, it has been exciting! The learning curve was deep. I didn’t know there were so many resources, groups, and books. The amount of money it has taken me to get this far is crazy. I always respected the money people loaned me. There were times I wished I had done more research and asked better questions. I had many of my friends and family help me at the start. I received a blessing from Mr. Mike Jackson. Mr. Jackson loaned me the money to get my first website with Go Daddy on my name and reputation alone. It took me a year to repay him. I did it with pride and joy. I have dealt with some things I don’t think they even talk about in “B-school.” I’m here now, established, and better for it all.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Wolf Pack Receiving – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Wolf Pack Receiving is in the package receiving and delivery business. We provide online shoppers with the solution for stolen package deliveries. We do this by providing an alternate address along with our delivery service. We specialize in making sure thieves stay off of your porch stealing your stuff. I am most proud that I am one more example to young Black kids, middle-aged Americans, and veterans that you can do anything. You see all of the stories on the internet of life-saving medicines, special needs kids tools, and teacher’s supplies stolen. Worst of all is the criminal pretending to be delivery people and pushing into people’s homes. It is scary to see. I would hate for any of those situations to happen to my family, my friends, or my community. What sets us apart from other delivery services is that we do care about our clients. Just as much as we care about our clients, we care about our Pack Members.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have some things planned but for now, we want to get better at listening to our team and our clients.
