Meet Emily Blue

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Blue.

Emily, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
For as long as I can recall, I have always been a leader, valued the power of education and advocated for others. Furthermore, I was always wanting to organize and establish events and programs even in elementary school. At the same time, I struggled severely with my authenticity as a woman. Since I was eight years old, I have had problems with my weight. As a result, I drifted into moments of low self-esteem and self-acceptance. I made countless attempts to lose weight by exercising and eating right, but I had some obstacles that sometimes pushed me back into dim places internally for many years that I overcame.

In 2005, when I was a diagnosed with Keratoconus, the vision for my life became crystal clear. Through the revelation of this vision condition, I started getting to the root of why I was struggling with low self-esteem, self-image, and self-acceptance. I was allowing my own perception of myself and the perception of others to dictate how I felt about myself. Not too long after my diagnosis, I had an epiphany. It was as if my spiritual ears had been cleaned out and I could really hear. Being a Christian and woman of faith, I heard the voice of God speak to me inwardly. He said “Emily, until you see yourself the way I see you, you will remain in an unfocused condition. Your spiritual and visionary sight will be stagnated. You have to begin to understand who you are in Me.” This resonated in my heart and spirit, but it has not quite registered in my mind.

Finally, I got a good view with the mirror of my heart. I began to see myself as God sees me. Once this transpired, I began a journey that led to a change in my life. I simply changed my thinking. I started making steps to become well from the inside out. At the age of 30, I made one of the most valuable decisions I could have possibly made. I decided to take back control of my life by making a lifestyle change which included getting control of my physical health.

The journey was not just about losing weight; it was about discovering God’s original intent for me and am stepping out of my comfort zone to do the things that I have never done before to reach my destiny. My first step out of my comfort zone is participating in Texas Plus America Pageant as Ms. Best Southwest Texas Plus America 2010. Although I participated in several other pageants, after that, this is was the defining one. It was a catalyst to springboard me into my passion. I discovered that my purpose was to use what I learn on my own journey to empower others to become well from the inside out.

Thus, the birth of Fx3 Coaching, Brand New Day with Emily Blue (an extended platform of Fx3 Coaching) and EMB Chrysalis Foundation (non-profit organization).

Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing worth pursuing is ever smooth or easy. Opposition and struggle produce character and breeds strength and wisdom for the journey. I started my non-profit organization first in 2011 (EMB Chrysalis Foundation, formerly Total You Unlimited). The cultivation of it took me through numerous ups and downs, and while I wanted to throw in the towel and give up, I did not. As a result, the non-profit is consistently budding and thriving as we impact the communities we serve.

On the other hand, launching my business, Fx3 Coaching and the radio show, Brand New Day with Emily Blue, is a totally different trajectory. Fx3 Coaching was curated out of that sincere and strong passion I have to empower others to become well holistically. The vision for Brand New Day with Emily Blue was written in 2010 but timing was not precise so it took eight years to leap off the pages. I believe everything happens when it is supposed to happen. Fx3 Coaching and Brand New Day with Emily Blue are to co-exist with each other.

Starting new things is always challenging but I know if I work diligently, I will be successful. Just move through and grow while you are in the process of becoming.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
