Today we’d like to introduce you to Carranza Wade.
Hi Carranza, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Carranza Wade and I’m originally from Shreveport, LA. I moved to Dallas in December 2003, looking for a new start. I started working at Sprint from 2004 to 2020 as a Project Manager. Upon moving to Dallas, I was exposed to people and opportunities that led me to wanting to be my own boss and create a business. I dabbled in a few ventures, and each of them failed for different reasons. I finally came up with the idea for the arcade because it resolved a problem. Kids, especially teenagers in my area, didn’t have a place for them. I have two teenage boys that love games and music, so I created a place that caters to them and their demographic.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road was not smooth, but it was definitely worth it going through obstacles and learning new things.

The Vault Arcade is a console arcade featuring Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch games. We have a snack bar, DJ, and 19 big screens with a console connected to each. We offer celebration packages, Teen Nights on Fridays and Saturdays, special events, and tournaments.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My wife Jacqueline definitely co-signed this idea. My two sons were very instrumental in this project. They definitely got dirty during construction. My mom, dad, and brother-in-law Rollison Gomez who was my general contractor, so without him, this project does not get done. I owe him a level of gratitude that I could never repay. I also had the support of many other close friends during the process to help make this dream come true.
