Today, we’d like to introduce you to Carrie Parker. Carrie was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Dr Jennifer Bontreger.
Hi Carrie, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
I am mom of 2 very active boys only 11 months apart. I am a wife to an APP and I am a labor & delivery nurse at a busy hospital. My life is busy and I don’t have much down time.
Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
I have been a labor & delivery nurse for 16 years. I have absolutely the best job in the world! I bring tiny lives into the world!! How cool is that?! It truly is a miracle!
As you know, we’re big fans of Dr Jennifer Bontreger and Southern Horizon Healthcare we know you’ve worked with them quite a bit as well. We’d love to hear about your experience working with Dr Jennifer Bontreger.
I started seeing Dr. Jennifer in 2013. I vividly remember that morning waking up in excruciating pain, barely able to walk and my husband called the clinic and they were able to see me that day. I had never met Dr. Jennifer but knew as soon as I did that I would be a lifelong patient. She sat down and listened to the issues I was having and I never once felt rushed. She took the time to figure out what needed to be done about my back and would refer me to the appropriate people as she felt necessary. Fast forward to 2021 and I am still a patient of her practice. I have seen her practice grow in size but the clinic still has the feel of a small practice. Dr. Jennifer still makes me feel as though I am the only person in her office at the moment. You will never feel like just a number in her practice. She will always spend whatever time is necessary to solve any issues that may be going on. Dr. Jennifer genuinely cares for her patients!
