Meet Cary McCoy of Ebby Halliday Realtors

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cary McCoy.

Cary, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I actually was selling my own home and became frustrated with the process. The communication & marketing was not to my expectation I felt as though I could sell my home myself so I began my real estate classes. I built up a business by focusing on a few small areas and continued to expand. I moved from Wisconsin to Texas and built my real estate career the same way that had worked in the past. Started small to grow to one of the top agents in the company. I have had career sales in excess of 225 million. I have been licensed 15 years and specialize in relocation. What I enjoy most about my career is the relationships I make and helping my clients through typically their largest investment. I pride myself on my ethics as I treat every deal as though it is mine personally.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, the first year was challenging being a straight commission profession as I was really hitting the pavement without any salary and while it was completely focused to stay strong through those times I knew the reward would be good and the reward to me is the level I enjoy my work. I wake up daily happy it is never a task to go to work.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Ebby Halliday Realtors – what should we know?
I sell residential real estate and specialize in relocation in and out of the area. I have Sold over $220 Million. With my volume what sets me apart from other agents is that I work directly with my clients. I do not have a team of agents I pass them off to. I sell a home weekly so I am active in the market and well educated on inventory. I have a marketing campaign that is unique and sets my listings aside making them sell quickly and for top dollar.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My honesty, reliability, and ability to negotiate.

A few reviews received:

“You won’t find a better realtor in DFW, period. Lightning fast responses, expert-level knowledge, and the toughest negotiating skills you will ever see.” – jsentryh

“Cary is one of the most dedicated realtors I’ve worked with. On the sale of the prior home and purchase of our current home, she was a tremendous help. Her assistance and guidance throughout both processes was invaluable. Her efforts and negotiations with the builder and the issues we faced saved us 1000’s. I would recommend Cary to any of our family and friends, she’s a terrific realtor.” -TSilva

“I am now officially a homeowner. This was my first time buying a house and Cary was ENORMOUSLY helpful throughout the entire process. I was even lucky enough to get the very first home that we placed a bid on, and that should be a testament to her negotiating ability.”

“On top of the fact that she is involved, responsive, kind, and very knowledgeable, she has got to be one of the most well-connected real estate agents in town. Through her contacts I had my loan picked out and pre-approved, my homeowners insurance set up, my utilities set up, and my movers lined up. I’m sure I only scratched the surface of what her rolodex has to offer. I have been in this house for a couple weeks now and I have zero buyer’s remorse. I feel like I’ve received an excellent deal every step of the way, and I’m confident that would not have happened without Cary’s involvement mjmohan88.”
