Meet Casey French of LifeWCasey Blog in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey French.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started blogging a few months after moving to Dallas. It was more of an outlet for me to express my style and something that I could do for fun and dress up for, too. Who doesn’t love doing that? It was something that I always wanted to do but was too scared to start out of fear of others opinions. I gave up that fear and went for it and it has been such an amazing experience for me. I also was interested in starting a blog to meet more woman who were like-minded and shared the same interests as me. Especially since I was new to the area, and it was difficult to meet new friends. Through blogging, it made me feel empowered and opened up so many opportunities for me!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not as smooth as I thought it would be! Its really about creativity and being authentic to yourself. There was a lot of times that I just lost interest or hit blocks in what I wanted to do or what I was going to share. Especially now, so many people are blogging and influencing through Instagram and there are so many creative minds out there, it’s hard to not get into comparison mode. Also, with authenticity, sometimes it is difficult to be vulnerable with thousands of people online.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with LifeWCasey Blog – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
My business is really just showcasing my style and interests, which include fashion, fitness, travel, and being a mother. I share a lot more through Instagram lately than on my personal blog (like I said you lose interest or hit blocks). I’m proud of the fact that through the difficult times I just keep showing up, even if I’m not feeling it as much that day, I will at least post a quote, a story, or something that I’m feeling in that moment. I think what sets me apart is that I like to use humor a lot and that you probably will never know what I’m going to post about. My style is forever changing and I love being versatile.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to really just start making bigger collaborations with my dream companies and possibly start my own YouTube channel where you can really get a glimpse of me behind the pictures and words.
