Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Sanders.
Casey, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in north Fort Worth. I am a second generation Chiropractor, so I grew up in a Chiropractic household under the care of my father. Helping others experience a fully functioning body has always been a passion for me. After College, I traveled around playing music. Those were some of the best years of my life, but I was not finding the fulfillment of serving the community. I wanted more. I wanted a family, to be my own boss, and to create change on a global level.
I returned to school to obtain my doctorate in Chiropractic because I feel others have a right to experience health like I have my entire life. During school, I got engaged and married to my beautiful wife Kari. She has been my biggest supporter and one of my best patients. We have two amazing children. Over the course of my education, I was introduced to my mentors, Drs. Andy Roberts and Shawn Dill. They introduced me to the world of Upper Cervical Chiropractic care through their technique program, The Art of The Specific, which is what I practice in my office.
During my time training with this group, I have received over 300 hours of technique training and been able to travel to both El Salvador and Mexico to provide the same level of care experienced in my office to low economic areas all while growing my knowledge and experience of this work. During those trips, we adjust over 4,000 people in the course of one week!
I graduated Parker University in the fall of 2016 and immediately set to work opening an office. I chose north Fort Worth because I feel there is no better place to start than close to my family and friends. The road from planning to opening was long and arduous. We faced many challenges and when you open a cash-based upper cervical practice, things only become more difficult. It requires a great amount of perseverance, patience, and coaching to handle appropriately and if it weren’t for Dr. Dill and his group, The Black Diamond Club, I would be absolutely lost in business.
Since opening, I have been able to help families in the north fort worth and Keller communities overcome the chronic health conditions keeping them from enjoying life.
Patients that come to my office become part of my family. Our relationship doesn’t begin and end at my front door. It grows over the course of care and because of that, our results are phenomenal.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has definitely been challenging. a 30-year-old Chiropractor has to make a good impact on the community through extensive rapport building and my ambivert personality has required some deep breaths in the process.
Some of my biggest challenges have included gaining the respect as an expert in my field of study through constant interactions in the community, learning to separate the technician, administrator, and marketer instantly, and finding out the importance of building solid relationships.
Please tell us about The Specific Chiropractic Centers – Fort Worth.
My business is The Specific Chiropractic Centers of Fort Worth. We are an Upper Cervical office, which means we concentrate on the top two bones in the neck to generate a global change in the body. We utilize cutting edge technology and test a patient’s nervous system on every visit to determine if they even need to be adjusted on any given day because our goal is that once a patient has been adjusted, they hold their alignment for as long as possible.
As a company, I am most proud that each patient that comes in has access to a network of 30 doctors all working to ensure success.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I wouldn’t change a thing!
