Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassidy Cooper
Hi Cassidy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I found my mom’s old camera soon after a few babies entered my life! Being a creative + being an obsessive auntie = the start of my photography journey. It was meant to be! I started taking photos for fun, then upgraded to exchanging photos for tacos. Next, it was for a few dollars. After a few years, a lot of experience and hard work – here we are!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Sometimes you set up a mini session and book out so fast that you add a second day… Sometimes you set up a mini session and only your sister shows up. You never know when/if people will sign up for a mini session and that’s difficult. It’s also a vulnerable feeling to market yourself in that way online. But even if it’s only my sister… I’m thankful!

I’m unique, compassionate, driven, trustworthy, organized, funny, loud, outgoing, and a bit weird… I’m a dog mom to my golden retriever, Oakley. I’m an aunt to the cutest nieces on the planet. I love to take photos, paint, play games, and hang with my friends and family. I work in social media, marketing, and of course – I own Cassidy Cooper Photography!
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Confidence is an important lesson in photography. I strive to have confidence in myself and to try and give confidence to clients.
