Today we’d like to introduce you to Ceanti Aldridge.
Hi Ceanti, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Ceanti Aldridge. I started calling myself Audacious Ceanti online a few years ago because I was working on overcoming fear and being the God-designed version of myself. I had been tinkering around with graphic design for a few years and in 2018 I got a job doing social media and marketing for a business coach who provided training and events for entrepreneurs to monetize their business. After 3 years of working with her and being surrounded by these amazing women who were pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams – successfully – I decided to take the leap of faith for myself!
This past June, I left that job (a great job I got to travel around the world with) and I decided to go full time for myself in business after dreaming and hoping for it since I was 12 years old. I’m in the middle of rebranding and relaunching my business, now Audacious Ceanti Creative Studio where my absolute JOY is to collab with audacious women entrepreneurs, and creative professionals to provide illuminating strategy and inspiring design to see their brands fully bloom through Brand Identity Design, Strategic Web Design, Social Media Strategy, and Marketing Design.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’m really just getting started in my business. I officially started my business as my side hustle in January 2020 after playing with it for YEARS. Then, this year on May 23rd, I felt imposter syndrome leave and this confidence I know was God come over me and say, “how much longer are you going to wait to go for it.”? I put in my notice 2 days later, moved back to OKC two weeks later, and here I am, full time. It’s not smooth. I’m figuring things out as I go. But it’s worth it to me because I’ve spent my WHOLE life playing safe, never taking the big risks, even though I always wanted to. I let fear and imposter syndrome hinder me for so long. The second that fear left, I knew I had to dive into it before I gave myself a chance to doubt myself again. So, I don’t advocate people making this “reckless” move I made, but for me, it was the right move and I’m excited to give it my all and see what God does!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve been designing websites and marketing graphics. I’m now adding brand identity design and social media strategy so I can be the overall design strategist for audacious women entrepreneurs and creative professionals. I want to help women with the design for their brand from conception – with the look, vibe, colors, logo, typography, etc. – to establishing their online presences – with a beautiful and effective website that speaks to their ideal clients – to getting their message out on social media and email – through content marketing strategy and beautiful graphics to match!
What sets me apart, is my eye for design and ability to think strategically to help women create flourishing brand identities and design that is pretty AND profitable.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I was, by all means, a “scaredy-cat,” held myself back for years. I promise, if I can overcome the voice in my own head telling me why I couldn’t, shouldn’t do this, blah blah blah, I absolutely believe you can too! You CAN and SHOULD live beyond the fear and lean into what’s already super dope about you so you can live the best, God-designed life of your dreams! Whatever it takes! #BeAudacious #BecomeYourOwnLifeGoals
