Today we’d like to introduce you to CeCi McQueen.
CeCi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It all started about eight years ago, I’ve always had a passion for people and making them feel confident and beautiful as well as being helpful and a leader. I started my career teaching after college, but coming from a big family of girls, beauty, hair and skincare was always a thing for me.
Over the years that passion grew and I started a career in cosmetology in 2012. After losing my biggest motivator, my big sister & niece to a car wreck my passion drifted, so I focused more on my teaching career. Over the years it was there just no fuel behind it but March 2019 due to high demand it was relit and Beauty Queen™️ was born.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely not been easy, In an industry where there’s always ongoing competition, starting back up so late I felt a little discouraged. Support doesn’t always be there and it doesn’t happen overnight but you just have to tell your self its worth it and keep going.

I am a certified lash extension technician who specializes in classic to volume lash extension services and sale 100% mink 3D & 25mm lashes. I also specialize in natural healthy hair, & skincare. I’m most known for selling quality lashes in Dallas for reasonable prices. I am most proud of the resilience I have had through it all as well as the quality customer service and satisfaction, having one of the highest client return. What sets me apart from other is my ability and knowledge I bring forward. I’m not in it for the money even tho it is a plus its the love for others that makes the impact.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would have to be being raised in a big family and just having all your family over during the holidays. Back when 20 people in a two bedroom house for the weekend was fun and okay because the amount of love outweighed any problems we had.
