Today we’d like to introduce you to Cesar Llamas.
Cesar, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Came to the states at the age of 18. Being here since then mainly Dallas. I’ve always been creative since I remember, since I was a kid loved to draw and create with different materials. Been in the service industry gave me the time to focus in my work and finally do what I really enjoy everyday for living.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t at all as an immigrant there is always the struggle even more when you are alone in a different country for so many years.
Cesar llamas art – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Don’t really have a company, I just love to express my life trough painting and I think that what sets me apart it’s the reality that people see in my paintings. An everyday struggle, a memory an experience a thought that connects people with the expressions.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Sometimes people look at success as having the newest car or a mansion been able to buy expensive clothes shoes etc. I think that been successful in life it’s to do what you love and what makes you happy everyday to be great to people everyday to be able to help others to share the most minimum that you have to make people smile when they are sad. Success it’s to be happy in life doing what you love.
