Meet Chase Harris of Mutual Muscle Training in North Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chase Harris.

Chase, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2010, I wrapped up my final year of college at the University of North Texas and became the first member of my family to graduate from college. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotions. Upon graduation, I received an internship with Mr. Chase Rojas as a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness in Roanoke, TX. Through my internship, I became a certified personal trainer and learned how to create fitness and nutrition programs for various types of people with a variety of fitness levels and goals. Over my five-year tenure at Anytime Fitness, I discovered my passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The Birth of Mutual Muscle:

During my time at Anytime Fitness, I established a fitness clothing company called Mutual Muscle. I attended fitness expos and literally hustled shirts out of the back of my truck alongside continuing my journey as a full-time personal trainer. The meaning behind Mutual Muscle was to empower others to initiate a winning mindset. Initiating a winning mindset was something I learned to live by. In June of 2013, as I was developing Mutual Muscle, I was awaiting trial for my second DWI charge. Initiate a winning mindset was more than a slogan to me. It was truly a mindset that I acquired to get through the challenges I was facing. To make matters worse, shortly after the launch of Mutual Muscle, in late July of 2013, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and was given 4 weeks to live. The amount of stress that I was under can be likened to the equivalent of an oversupply of air in a pipe ready to burst.

My father passed away in August of 2013 just days after I was looking at a seven-year prison sentence for a third DWI. I was struggling to feel like I could do anything right and the person who I confided in about my problems was gone. Unlike most, I used these hardships to fuel my motivation and ambition to do something that would honor my father and make him proud of the man I had become.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Mutual Muscle Training – what should we know?
In 2016, I left my job as a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness and opened my very own training facility called Mutual Muscle Elite Training Center. Mutual Muscle Elite Training Center became a place where I helped others initiate winning mindsets. With my experience and passion to inspire others, I would make it my mission to help clients gain more than muscle and lose more than fat. Individuals who suffered from low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and a sense of no self-love would have renewed mindsets and become healthy, confident, and self-loving individuals.

At Mutual Muscle Elite Training Center, my goal was to create a system that provided rapid results in the most efficient way possible. I developed a system that I call circuit strength training. Circuit strength training combines traditional bodybuilding with a high-intensity interval training style called Tabata. This system would allow clients to burn 500+ calories per workout in just 40 minutes. In addition to my circuit strength training system, all clients would receive a custom nutrition program and become part of a community that we call the Fit Fam. Our Fit Fam is guaranteed to hold you accountable every single day, celebrate your wins and losses, and motivate you as fitness goals.

Mutual Muscle Now:

To date, Mutual Muscle Elite Training Center has impacted over 600 lives. Our Fit Fam environment still stands strong and the energy that flows through Mutual Muscle Elite Training Center is like no other gym around. Our team has helped three (soon to be four) members reach their goal of 100 pounds lost. In addition to the 100-pound losers, we have had countless members initiate a winning mindset, change the way they view themselves and ditch medications that once kept them alive due to the positive shift in their health.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My Passion for Helping Individuals improve their self-esteem and learn to love themselves.
