Meet Chassity And Sheridan Bee of Wylie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chassity And Sheridan Bee.

Hi Chassity and Sheridan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
BeeCaptured actually started as my husband’s idea. He wanted to build something that I could eventually take over, so I could be home more with our son. I’m a coach, and a lot of people don’t realize just how demanding that job is. Between the long practices, late games, and early mornings, I often spend more time with my team than with my own family.
He knew how much I loved capturing little moments and making memories, so photography felt like the perfect fit. What started as a small side idea slowly turned into BeeCaptured, a way for us to blend creativity, family, and connection.

In the beginning, we actually started out doing photo booth rentals for parties, weddings, and corporate events. It was such a fun way to connect with people and be part of their celebrations, and it really helped us build relationships within our community. From there, we began to realize that people didn’t just want a photo, they wanted the experience. That’s when we decided to expand and start offering professional photography and video services.

Now, BeeCaptured has grown into so much more than what we started as. We’ve evolved into a full media production company, offering everything from portraits and event coverage to promotional content and storytelling visuals for brands and businesses. Every step has been a learning process, but it’s been so rewarding to see our vision grow beyond just taking pictures, it’s about capturing moments, emotions, and stories in every form of media.

At the heart of it all, BeeCaptured is still rooted in what started it: family, creativity, and connection. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a completely smooth road, but I think that’s what makes the journey so meaningful. Starting a business while working full time as a stock broker and coach, and then becoming parents, has been a lot to juggle. There have been late nights editing photos after work, early mornings setting up shoots, and plenty of moments where we both questioned if we could balance it all.

We’ve also had to learn everything from scratch, from marketing and client management to lighting setups and editing workflows. There were times when things felt overwhelming, but every challenge has taught us something valuable.
Through it all, we’ve kept reminding ourselves why we started BeeCaptured in the first place — to build something that gives our family freedom. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every lesson along the way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
BeeCaptured is all about creating experiences that feel genuine, warm, and memorable. We specialize in portrait photography, video production, and photo booth rentals, capturing everything from family milestones and weddings to business events and creative brand stories.

What we’re really known for is helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera and making every session or event feel like a celebration. We offer photography, videography, and creative content for clients who want to capture their stories in every form.

What sets us apart is the heart behind what we do. We care deeply about connection, not just the final photo or video, but the feeling people have during and after their experience with us. Every project, big or small, is personal to us, and we’re proud that BeeCaptured continues to grow while keeping family and authenticity at the center of everything.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think the biggest thing that’s helped us succeed is authenticity. We’ve learned that people connect most when you show up as yourself. Whether that’s as a coach, a mom, or a photographer. I don’t try to make sessions feel overly posed or perfect; I focus on creating a comfortable space where real moments can unfold naturally.
