Cheri, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My husband was laid off from his oil and gas industry position in February of 2016. We had recently welcomed our third child into our growing family. I came across this business opportunity on Facebook and loved the idea of making people smile and brightening their day. I started in August 2016 and the company has been growing steadily. I truly enjoy what I do and love working with my affiliates across DFW and the US to spread joy for every occasion! Dallas Yard Greetings, Forget Me Not Yard Greetings, Denton County Yard Greetings, Lawn Posters and A Grassy Greeting cover all of the DFW area!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been a relatively smooth road to where we are now. The main issue is figuring out storage solutions for hundreds of 2-foot-tall letters!
North Fort Worth Yard Greetings – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are in business to help people celebrate! I have done greetings for everything from weight loss achievements to 10-year cancer free celebrations! Birthdays and school events are the bread and butter to my business though. I make each one personalized and unique with different image signs and sayings. Our customer service sets us apart. I get to know each of my customers so I can provide the best experience possible and continue that relationship past the delivery date of the greeting.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success, to me, is finding the perfect work-life balance. I was a stay at home mom until I found this opportunity and now, being able to provide for my family while working hours that fit in our schedule is key to what makes my business successful.
