Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheryl Chambers.
Cheryl spent many years in Corporate America, but always had a strong passion for Hair and fashion.
She left the corporate world to do something she has always had a love and passion for and that’s Hair. She has been in the Hair industry for over ten years and also the CEO of the Healthy Hair Studio LLC located in Garland, TX. She continues to master and develop her craft by attending classes and training. Loving her career choice and seeing the gratification from clients after you have perfected their image and boosted their confidence is priceless.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a salon owner is not always easy. I’m learning so much as I continue to grow in the industry from clients and Stylists. Even though I’ve had my ups and downs along the way, I wouldn’t change my career choice for the world; this is my passion and I love what I do.
Healthy Hair Studio – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The Healthy Hair Studio is a very relaxing salon where clients can come and feel at home. Time management and personalized customer service are top priorities here at the salon. My specialty is styling short hair it’s just something about it, however we have Stylists that offers many different services from cuts, color, extensions, braids, natural etc… I’m very proud of the amazing team we have here at the Healthy Hair Studio that makes our clients first priority. My personality and my ending hug to each client after their services sets me apart from the rest.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is personalized to each individual. If you have the determination it takes to become successful, you will. I always see myself as a driven individual. I like to set yearly goals for myself and my business. Success can be quantified by whatever makes you happy. To learn and teach can define your success goals. To obtain financial wealth can define your success goals. Success in my book is simply what helps you achieve overall happiness.
