Today we’d like to introduce you to Chika Ndukwe.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I completed my first degree from the University of Houston with a bachelors in public health. I then went on to pursue my bachelors in nursing from Southwestern Adventist University and graduated in 2011. My nursing career began at Parkland Memorial Hospital, where I worked in Obstetrics as a newborn nurse in labor and delivery for five years. That where my passion for women’s health began. During my time there, I decided to pursue my education and attained my Doctorate in Nursing Practice specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Loyola University, New Orleans, in 2016. During my maternity leave, I branched out and started a blog about motherhood and being a millennial mommy. My first two years as a nurse practitioner, I was in neurology, and I was trained on botox for migraines. I developed a passion for aesthetic medicine and decided to pursue that passion.
I ended up starting with Aesthetic Concierge of Texas (ACT) as an independent contractor. ACT has an awesome business model and platform. Aesthetic Concierge of Texas delivers botox, fillers, and IV therapy in the comfort and privacy of our client’s homes.
I currently have another very unique project that will be launched in the Fall, and I am looking forward to sharing it with DFW.
Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth process. I believe the marketing phase is the most difficult. Getting individuals to buy in and believe in you and your services is very challenging. All I can do is stay consistent and continue enhancing my skills and knowledge.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and the least?
I am a Dallas native, so I love Dallas. I love that there are so many hidden spots to go to uptown, Deep Elum, and Legacy West. All the spots give you a different vibe. I also like that it is very diverse. What I like least might be the traffic, lol.
